This is my little corner of the world where I will share my dreams and aspirations.I will chat about my beautiful family and ramble on about whatever takes my fancy especially my love affair with red and white polka dots. I have decided life is too short to feel pressure so my journey will be a relaxed one and if you want to join me for the ride I would be thrilled to have your company.‎

Makings….. yep it’s true.

Yeah, I know you didn’t believe me that I was actually making things. That’s okay because I am quite shocked myself, it’s been so long. So here is the proof of the pudding or makings I should say.

20cm squares for a Charity Blanket which Sally is organising. Such a great cause and fun thing to participate in.

And my pride and joy, my teapot cosy. I so love it, isn’t it the cutest. This one is actually for a girl from work. Mine is going to be red and white with spots instead of flowers but you knew it would be didn’t you.

So see I have been busy (at long last).

This week I have Shiree staying with us as she is in Christchurch for the NZ Embroiderers Conference 2012, and looking at everything she is having on her merchants stall is really starting to get my mojo rolling again.

Off to the Buddhist Temple today to see the embroidery exhibition.

Stay warm people, hugs Debs xx

Oh, well done Deb on all those projects. Things are very similar here including the soup. Your red spot tea cosy will be just the job.
My young ones with their new house are having red items in the kitchen too...so far a nice red kettle too and big red painting on the wall.it's a warm colour combo for kitchens.
Seems we are getting shaking in the Nth Is. too!
