Yahoo , its all finished....

Yahoo, MIL's pinwheel quilt is all finished and in the washing machine getting ready to go in the dryer and then be wrapped up. I am thrilled. I managed to get it sandwiched together with help from DH and then got the quilting done and binding on today. It all went together well as long as you don't look to hard at things.
I was lazy and used Basting spray to put it together, Gosh I love that product, it saves so much time. I used bamboo batting and wow, it is lovely to sew on the machine and feels so nice. I really wanted to use it because its so natural and allergy free and MIL suffers from severe psoriasis so I didn't want anything to aggravate her skin .
So here we are......... the front...........
and the back.......
I have also been told that my Christmas in July swappee for Karen's swap has received her parcel so I will post about it next time as there are a few photos.

What a lovely gift. A treasure for sure. I have some bamboo batting to use in a baby quilt but haven't tried it yet. Good to know it's great to work with.
